What did audience say to Ken Ghosh, the director of the movie, after watching the show. Hum teri Fida dekh kay, mar gaye ro ro kay ! If only he could listen.

For those who already didn't know the plot, there was the twist in the tail at the stroke of half time. Those who had thought about to leaving after watching insipid first half, might have changed their mind, only to watch the equally insipid second half. I think TOI with ***1/2 rating made April Fool of the readers in the month August. Not that I am influenced by these reviews, but a good rating always makes you optimistic. Probably, Nikhat Kazmi is some long standing pal of Ghosh.

There is nothing much to write about the movie. Trying to make a thriller, the plot itself is horribly loose. At points, there are some hints about Abbas Mastan's Ajnabi in the movie. It surges people's expectation but the utterly tame climax turns out to be a damp squib.

Male Leads have done so-so job(looked handsome, acted terribly), though at times Kareina looks spooky and tries to be a bit too mean. The villain-cum-comedian, Akhilesh Mishra fails on both the counts. Neither he invokes any terror nor any laughter. Fardeen keeps hitting Shahid, who keeps landing in hospital. Kareina does a fair job not hanging herself. There is no chemistry between any of them.

As is the trend these days, director has included all the glossy stuff in the movie. Manicured muscles, designer clothes, tastefully done flats, bungalows, mansions, Swiss banks, swanky cars, casinos, discos, latest cellphones, hackers - everything is there. People move from Hirnandani to UK to South Africa. There is Kim Sharma so there is ample skin show. A song keeps popping up from everywhere. But nothing catches interest or helps movie.

Thankfully, movie is just a shade above two hours. Those could be invested on a much better prospect.
